Training Physician-Scientists

MD/PhD Physician-Scientists are at the forefront of academic medical science. The Berggren Center works closely with UChicago's MSTP Program to create opportunities for MD/PhD students to train in quantum technology laboratories to learn how to create quantum technologies for medical applications.

The Berggren will leverage Chicago’s existing resources and expertise to uniquely engage members the medical and engineering communities in quantum training. The Center will empower students to adopt new ideas and technologies, to translate science to the clinic, and to define the future of medicine.
